Some of the pages on the West Highland White site might me a little
confusing, so I have included this page to explain some of its functions.

Come join the club, let the world see your Westie, add your name to the
new Woof members list, and upload a photo for all to see.
West Highland
White Forum
A forum is a place people can get together and post messages, ask
questions, upload photos, and generally anything you want. Like the site,
the forum is free to use, it has people looking after it, so that its
content is suitable for all visitors, including children.
The Westie forum members all have Westie's, so if you want to speak to a
lot of Westie people, this is the place to visit. You will also see a lot of
members photos, showing their Westie's having fun.

Do you know someone in the world that also has the internet?, is it their
birthday? Wedding anniversary? or are they about to get married? Perhaps its
Christmas time, Halloween.
Normally you would need to go buy them a card, envelope and postage
stamp, then send it off in plenty of time to make sure it gets there on
time. However the West Highland White Greeting cards, is electronic, it
costs nothing to send a card, and it will arrive anywhere in the world
within seconds !
The person you send the card to will be send an email, they can then

Highland White Screen Savers
A screen saver is something from the past, if you leave you monitor on
for many hours a day, the image on the screen can leave a burn mark, when
switching your monitor off, you will see a ghost of the display burned into
the screen.
It use to be a big problem on many monitors, and so screen savers were
developed to remove the picture from the screen of you never did anything
for x min. Screen savers are just programs that run a pre determined time,
and keep changing the picture on the screen.
If the picture is forever changing there is les chance of the monitor
developing screen burn. The screen savers here are ones I have made myself,
so they are free for you to download and install. They have been checked and
are free from any virus, so you don't need to worry, however if you download
them from sites other that this one, always check them with anti virus
software.
Other
JavaScript's, active X and other things that go bump in the night. Yep
you have hear a lot about web sites that pop up pages, install things on
your PC, take a look at your bank account details :)- and a whole lot more,
you might have even got some email with advertisements in it.
Relax, do get paranoid about it and let it all spoil your internet
surfing fun, yes there are sites about that should have been shut down years
ago, even sites that have popup advertisements should be shut down.
Well this site is not one of them, nothing harmful is here, nothing will
install on your computer, and nothing with automatically pop up a new
window. Established in 1998 this site has always been visitor friendly, it
don't collect personal information or email addresses.
There are a few scripts on this site to help make your visit more
enjoyable, without them things would not work right, you need to take a look
at your browsers settings, or firewall settings, when things don't work as
they should, you need to add this site to your friendly list.
A few people cannot see images on the site, this is because they are
protected from theft by other sites trying to link to them, however if your
settings hide your referrer (Where you came from) then you wont be able to
see the pictures. You don't need to enable it for all sites, only those you
trust.
If you have any concerns, have a question or problem, came say hello to
me in the forum.
Thank you for visiting
John
