The Standard For The West Highland White
Head Shaped to present a round appearance from the front. Should be in proportion
to the body. Expression-Piercing, inquisitive, pert. Eyes-Widely set apart,
medium in size, sharp and intelligent. On no account should the head
be carried in the extended possession. Ears Small, carried tightly erect, set wide apart and terminating in a
point. They must never be cropped. The hair on the ears should be short,
smooth and velvety, and trimmed free of fringe at the tips. Eyes Widely set apart, medium in size, dark colour, slightly sunk in the head.
Looking from under heavy eyebrows. Neck Muscular, well set on sloping shoulders. Length of neck should be
in proportion to the remainder of the dog.
