Dog Birthday Cake Chicken recipe - Ingredients
This dog birthday cake Chicken recipe requires the following ingredients:

350 g ( 12 oz) chopped or minced Chicken
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup Corn oil
Finely chopped Parsley (Optional)
Half cup grated Carrot
For dog birthday cake 'icing' use a spread made from either yoghurt or cream cheese

Method
Prehat oven to 350°

Grease and flour the cake tin
Finely chop or mince the Chicken
Puree the Chicken in a blender, or food processor, with the eggs and corn oil
Grate the Carrot
Finely chop the parsley (Optional)
Add the vegetables to the meat mixture and blend together until completely mixed
Sift flour and baking powder together in a large mixing bowl and stir in oatmeal
Make a well in the center of the flour and gradually stir in the blended mixture
Pour mixture into the greased cake tin
Bake for about 50-60 minutes
Remove the dog birthday cake from the oven
Let the dog birthday cake cool for 30 minutes
Spread the top of the cake with 'Icing' - Yogurt or cream cheese
Add dog birthday cake decorations of your choice - grated vegetables or chopped fruit ( depending on your dog's taste)

Use "Pupperoni" sticks in the place of candles

Don't let your dog eat the birthday cake all in one go!

This dog birthday cake will keep in the fridge for 3-5 days

BEEF SPAGHETTI

800gms Minced steak
4/5 carrots diced
2/3 courgettes sliced thickly
1 tsp dried oregano
handful of spaghetti broken into 1" pieces
water to cover

Put everything except pasta into a large pan and bring to the boil, simmer for 1/2 hour then skim the fat off the surface, add the spaghetti and cook for a further 10 - 12 mins, The remaining stock should be absorbed into the pasta, otherwise you will need to thicken with a mixture of butter and flour.

Cool, portion and freeze.

PPP (Pork with peppers and pasta)

700gms lean pork steak, thinly sliced
1 red or yellow pepper diced
2 carrots diced
pasta small shapes
1 tbs butter
1tbs flour

Pan fry some pork steaks till nicely browned and cooked through, put on a plate.
In the same pan put the peppers and carrots and stir for a minute or two, cover with water and cook till almost cooked, add a couple of handfuls of pasta and boil for about 10 mins till cooked.
mix together the butter and flour and add to the liquid to thicken, add the finely chopped pork.

Minced steak and Vegs

1lb minced steak
3 carrots diced
2 potatoes diced
water to cover
1tbs flour
1tbs butter

Dry fry the Minced steak in a saucepan until cooked add the carrots and potatoes and cover with water, simmer for about 1/2 hour till the potatoes are soft.

Mix the butter and flour together with a fork, add to the mince and veg stir until thickened, cool and either refridgerate or freeze.
Molly loved this one.

chicken casserole

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken
4 large peeled potatoes
8 small carrots
2 stalks celery
water to cover
1 jar of processed peas and carrots
knob of butter
2 - 3 tbs flour

Method:

In a large pan put the chiken, potatoes cut in half and the carrots each broken into 3, bring to the boil and then simmer for 1 and half hours.
Cool.

Take all the meat off the bone and cut into small chunks, cut the potatoes and carrots into small dice too.
Add the peas and carrots, and mix well. (small dice for puppies)

Heat the butter in a large pan, add the flour and cook for a minute or two gradually add the chicken stock stirring continually untill thickened, when cooled add to the chiken and vegetables, place in containers suitable for the freezer.

Vaariations.
You could omit the potatoes, and then serve with rice or pasta.
You could add a couple of tomatos to alter the flavour.

lamb and liver porridge


boil 1 lamb chop and 3 table spoons liver in a large saucepan water.

boil 1/2 sweet potato, sprouts, a pellet of spinach, small chopped carrot and couple florets of cauliflower in another pan until soft.

when meat is done remove and chop ino small bitesize pieces discarding bones.

place meat back into pan ensuring there is still at least 2cm water covering if not add a little, add at least three handfulls porridge oats and simmer untill thickens.

mash vegetables and add to mixture.

This is more for people on a diet but goes down well with anyone.

19 mins to prepare 40 mins to cook.

Low fat spray
2-? oz sliced mushrooms
5 beaten eggs
3-? fl oz skimmed milk
9 oz cottage cheese
2 large tomatoes sliced
Salt & pepper
1 ? oz mature cheese.

Fry onions & mushrooms till soft
Spray 8-10 inch flan tin
Put mushrooms in bottom of flan tin
Whisk eggs, and then add milk, cottage cheese and seasoning
Pour over mushrooms
Slice tomatoes lay on top then sprinkle cheese, and a sprinkle of parsley.
Cook 30-40 min till cooked cut into 8 piece.
Veg can be added i.e. peppers, garlic, celery seasoning to whatever your taste.

Cheesey Biscuits

1 cup Wholewheat Flour
1 cup white flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup grated cheese
1 egg
3/4 cup water

Mix all ingredients together. Knead for a couple of minutes. Roll out to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters. Prepare baking tray with foil and spray on oil to prevent sticking. Bake at 160 c for 30 mins. Turn off oven and leave overnight for extra crispiness. Store in airtight container in the fridge.

Then just watch them go!!!! Laugh

Beef Biscuits

2? cups whole wheat flour
6 tbsp margarine or bacon fat
? cup powdered milk
1 small jar strained beef or lamb broth (baby food)
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp water
1 egg Mix ingredients. Knead 3 minutes. Dough should form a ball.
Roll out ? inch thick. Cut into dog bones. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.

PUPPY POPS

Broth (chicken or beef)
Chicken Chunks
Tiny bits of dog treats

Mix the broth, chicken chuncks, and dog treats together in a bowl. Pour the mixture into an ice-bue tray and freeze.

The next day you will have doggie popsicles.
