Little accidents around your homeAfter eating or drinking or if the pup has just woken up, your puppy might want to relieve its self. So there will probably be a few accidents until a puppy is fully house trained. Sniffing the ground and running around in circles is a good indication your puppy is about to empty his bowels. Young Westie's will relieve themselves every few hours. Praise the puppy after it has urinated on paper, never discipline a pup after it has soiled the floor, never put its nose in the mess. Both of these have no value and you will make the pup frightened of you. |
