Digestive Problems
Westie's that have digestive problems are ones usually being fed
dry food or canned or packet moist processed dog food products. Most of the
digestive problems can be traced to these unnatural type foods. Processed pet
foods have a definite effect on the long term health of the digestive system.
When Westie's are switched from commercial processed foods, the
overall response has been remarkable.
It can be as simple as having a reaction to an artificial preservative, such as
ethoxyquin, developed as a rubber stabilizer. !!!Symptoms
-
A Lot of wind (flatulence)
-
Stools will be soft or mushy and smelly
-
Diarrhoea
-
Vomiting of a yellowish, watery substance (Bile)
Treatment:
Most dogs that are switched to a fresh food, respond very well
