Westie stripping comb
This is a close up view of the blades of the stripping comb, as you can see there are two small hexagon (Alan key) bolds holding the blade in place, making it easy to remove the blades for sharpening or replacement.
The blades can be sharpened using an oil stone, when you buy one you should look to see if the replacements blades are available, they do last well, but will need to be very sharp to avoid causing unnecessary tugging on the hair. |
