Grooming Your Westie
If your living on a farm or hillside, then you wont need to worry to much about his coat. However the luxury of living like his ancestors in the highlands is not something we can all enjoy, and so we need to regularly groom our Westie's to keep the coat healthy.
Your Westie will need to be groomed 2-3 times a year, depending on your lifestyle. If your Westie spends a great deal of time running around the hills and bushes, like his ancestors before him, his coat will automatically be groomed.
Follow the next few pages on grooming, it is something you can do yourself, after all if you cut too much off, it will grow back, so don't worry. Take your time, only take a little off to start with and stand back and have a good look.
