Evolution of dog food, Low costWhen you see a price of a can, you may be thinking its much cheaper than fresh human foods, but think about your own family, how much more does it cost to feed one extra little mouth? Very little... The next time you buy some lamb chops, add a few extra, remember to take out the bones before you feed them. Your cooked vegetables will go down a treat, Westie's love them, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, Swede, peas, green beans.. Ham, beef, hearts, chicken, pork Westie love a full cooked Sunday dinner ! Fruit, apple, orange, pear, banana, peaches... Westie's love fruit ! But you need to be careful, you cannot change a diet overnight it has to be done lowly. There is also the problem of what your puppy was fed before you had him, there are lots of dishonest breeders out there who tell you they have been feeding a particular food, only to find out later when you feed it, your Westie gets a tummy upset. Well beloved, complete, balanced, wholesome are words used by manufacturers that will entice you to buy their products. There are NO commercially produced dog foods that are anywhere near as good as the evolutionary foods that you or I eat. |
