There are three basic groups which by-products can be classified into.
Inedible, Human inedible, Edible.
Inedible:
Hooves of cattle & horses, hair, hides, teeth, beaks and feathers
Human inedible:
bladders, lungs, intestines, unprocessed stomach, utters
Edible:
Things like tripe, spleen, liver, brains, kidneys, heart, tongue, lips.
