A lot of Westie people are buying fancy
collars, these collars are just for show, you don't use them with a
lead. Instead the harness is used while out walking, which is much safer
and more comfortable.
These soft collars are very "Bling" and will
show off your Westie, some hand made, some designed for cats, some pink
and very girly, and some blue for boys.
 When
picking a collar, make sure there is plenty of room for adjustment,
especially
if its for a pup. If your buying a cat collar, be aware that some of
them are have safety snap open catches, designed to open if the cat gets
it caught on something.
Some people are also adding jewellery,
sparkling name initials, a good source for these are mobile phone shops,
which even have flashing ones.
