Christmas Presents

Your Westie loves presents, Christmas, birthdays buy him a present. It needn't be a practical present like a gum massaging bone or a cosy dog basket to sleep in.

Put up a Christmas tree or decorations and Bobby & Scamp will bounce around in delight, they know Christmas is coming, and they know there will be presents for them. When their presents are wrapped up and placed under the tree, each morning they come and check that they are still there, have a sniff and are happy. Then on Christmas day they are told they can have their presents, they jump about with joy.

Yes you thought it was only young children who did this, well your wrong, your Westie will get to know about presents if you buy them some, we recently got into a habit of buying them a toy every week while shopping, now every time we come home they stand on two legs looking on the table for a new toy... its costing me a fortune !!

If your buying a soft toy, make sure its one suitable for children :) those ones that are safe for babies should be checked to make sure the parts don't come away, especially eyes or hair. Squeaky toys are great, but Bobby will get out the squeaker in a short time, so we have to keep an eye on him to make sure he don't swallow anything, he normally leaves them on the floor...

Not sure about Halloween, they want to play with the pumpkin
