If you happened to see the Fred Dibnah Made In Britain programme tonight
you would have seen him at the Midland Railway Centre in Ripley driving a
steam locomotive. This is one of our favourite locations as son Paul is a
trainee ticket inspector and guard there. This makes for a good excuse to
have a walk around take a few photos. This is one we took last year of the
same engine that Fred was driving. A British rail 9f heavy freight loco -
restored at the Midland Railway over a period of 23 years.
