Brown Hair Westie

There is very little point in using a product that claims to clear away brown fur, apart from them not working, you haven't found out what the problem is. Very little point in trying to remove the brown stain only to see it comeback again.

You need to find out the cause, and believe me there are many ! If your dog is licking an area regular, perhaps his paws, then there might be mites, and they are irritating him, then the saliva will stain the fur.

See what I mean? All you see is a stained fur, your told its the saliva bleaching it, but the real reason is mites. This is why you need to understand what might be going on, and not dash out and buy some worthless hair whitening shampoo.

Mites are one of many things that could cause your dog to lick continually. These pages cannot diagnose what is causing the brown fur, but may help you avoid some simple things, for example brown fur around the mouth could be just the water your giving.

There is one other thing, the Westie's ancestors were originally brown :)- Colonel Malcolm Poltalloch Terriers might even show up in your Westie with light brown fur, which might disappear later ! >> Read On
