Week fivePups have had their second dose of worming?.they can?t stand the taste and fight like mad not to have it. We are still giving it to them in a syringe as that way I know they are getting the right amount. Weaning is going well; the pups are down to one feed a day from Loulou. Loulou is spending more and more time away from the pups but is always close to break up any fighting. I know the pups are only playing but Loulou takes it very seriously especially if one squeaks or growls. Oh yeah?the pups have mastered how to growl and bark. It's hilarious listening to them. Paper training is going really well... we only put paper near the back door and nine times out of ten that is where they will do it. The pups spend quite a lot of time playing and chewing whatever they can find to chew. They have liking for the table legs at the moment, so were constantly having to say no to them. They also like to chew wires, so as safety percussion we have invested in some tubing and hooked all cables up out the way. For anyone who has a new pup, I suggest anything you don?t want them to chew to put out the way. Invest in some chewy toys; it will keep them contempt for hours. I will post part three when I get an hour to spare. |
