Day four
Saturday 14.01.2006
Puppies look really healthy. They were in full vocal swing this morning all
wanting there breakfast. Mum was soon to the rescue happily letting her pups
suckle away until they went fast asleep. Bruce had another sneaky peak at the
pups and again Loulou gave him a growl. I few more days and maybe Bruce will be
allowed to have a longer look at the pups. I don?t think he will give in until
Loulou lets him near.
Day five
Sunday 15.01.2006
Loulou, Bruce and pups are doing really well. I noticed the pup's noses are
black and the pads on their feet are nearly all black. Weighed all the pups, the
girls are heavier than the boys but they are all within a few grams of each
other, so I know they are all getting enough milk from mum. I?ve studied each
pup today to see if I can notice any differences in features, well apart from
gender they all look the same, really cute and very cuddly.
Day six
Monday 16.01.2006
Dan and Jess are back at school and Rich is back at work. Bless them, they have
been so helpful. I took Bruce the dog parlor today as he had this smelly scent
about him, I think he's been rolling in something yucky.
Tuesday 17.01.2006
Took Loulou and pups to the vets as the pups all had very loose green, yellowish
stools, the vet checked over the pups and checked over Loulou but could not pin
point the problem. We told him their symptoms but were told to keep an eye on
them through the rest of the day and any change to go straight back down. We got
back home and the pups settled down to feed. It was after 7pm when I let Bruce
out, and noticed Bruce had loose stools.
