When all said and done, the best of the cow, sheep, goat, lamb, corn, maze, oats etc is used for us humans, every bit that can be used, is used !, even the not so good bits are made into soups, pie's etc. If there is anything left it should be thrown out ! Chicken feathers and beaks are sources of protein ! But why would you want to feed that to your dog ? When there is good quality human food available, would you eat chicken feathers and beaks? I guess you would if there was nothing else? The balancing "Act" Yes it is an act, some manufacturers claim that the dog food they produce is specifically made for your dog, and contains a balance of everything needed. |
